BIO

Frank graduated with Honours in Design from the
Vancouver School of Art in 1955.
He was awarded the T. Eaton Scholarship in 1954, the A. E. Grauer Scholarship in 1955 and the Silver Medal at the 13th Contemporary Exhibition, Vancouver Art Gallery in 1961.

He went on to the Canadian Government Exhibition Commission, acting as Graphic Designer, Project Officer, Exhibition Designer and Chief Designer until 1974.

He worked as Creative Director for HABITAT,
the U.N. Conference on Human Settlements in 1976, and as Creative Advisor, Communications Division, External Affairs, Ottawa.

From 1980 - 1983 he was Creative Director of Expo 86 in Vancouver, Design Coordinator of the 1984 Louisiana World Exposition.

He then retired from the Government and returned to his first love, painting, and to his new love, exploring the Arctic.
